New Record Up For Preorder

My new trio album is up for preorder on Bandcamp, and will be available in CD format and streaming on July 11th.

With this group I wanted to pay tribute to my mentors, and to focus on group interplay. Tatsuya Sakurai plays guitar and Aidan O’Donnell is on the bass. We’ve been playing together for 15 years.

The repertoire ranges from jazz standards to Puccini and I mostly play clarinet for the first time. I chose to play Clarinet in A, as I love the darker sound, and don’t get to play it hardly enough.

I hope you like it, I’ll be sharing more tracks shortly but in the meantime you can check out 3 of the tunes on bandcamp now!

Happy New Year 2023!

I’ve decided to change up the look of the site, hope you like it! Sharing some new photos as well from my good friend Nicole Bertone. These were taken in the Ruth Gordon Amphitheater in Quincy, MA, one of the first stages I ever performed on. Stay tuned for more on the new record, a new book of duets and more.

New Job!

Excited to announce that I’ll be joining the Full Time Faculty at Borough of Manhattan Community College, part of the City University of New York, this Fall! Along with Quentin Angus and Can Olgun I’ll be one third of the Jazz and Popular Music Faculty.

I look forward to working with the students and faculty and helping to build up this relatively new program.

In other news, I have reduced the Amazon pricing on Bach Shapes II, for treble and bass clef, you can find them here: Bach Shapes II – Bass Clef.

Notreble.com on Bach Shapes II for bass clef.

The bass clef books are in stock! Notreble.com was nice enough to write up the new book:

I now have all of the books below available for bass clef! Now I just need to buy a bass. Enjoy!
