Or maybe it’s not. It’s possible I’ve been watching too much Game of Thrones, but the weather is indeed awfully warm here in New York for this time of year. The plus side of this is that everybody has remained active: tons of shows, sessions, conferences, and lessons to keep me and my city mates busy.
For the most part I’ve been working on the upcoming Luce Trio record, and I’ve now made a new page on the site just for the group, which you can see here.
We’ve got Ben Owens from Middle Press, a great printer in Brooklyn, working on the design for the record, Michael Fossenkemper from Turtle Tone Studios doing the mastering, and myself getting ready to mail out a bunch of copies to our kickstarter supporters and the media.

We are sure to have unique packaging for this CD, something you may want to display and keep. Who needs jewel cases anymore?
The Luce Trio is also touring up through New England in early March, please contact me if you’d like us to play in your town. We hope to have some copies of the record by then as well. Thanks and have a happy new year!
